Common questions
How much does Stocks with Friends cost?
Nothing. Stocks with Friends is free to use — there are no paid tiers, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app → Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your portfolio, friends, and profile data within 30 days. If you can’t access the app, email stockswithfriendsdev@gmail.com from the address on your account and we’ll handle it.
Why is my portfolio value off by a few cents (or a few dollars)?
We pull market data from a third-party provider and prices can be delayed by a few minutes during market hours. We display the latest price we have at the moment your screen loads. Refresh the screen for an updated quote.
Can I connect my brokerage account?
Not yet. Today you enter your positions manually. We’re evaluating brokerage integrations — let us know which broker you’d like us to support.
My friend can’t see my portfolio. What’s wrong?
Check your privacy setting under Settings → Privacy. If it’s set to “Friends only,” your friend needs to be following you (and you them) for your portfolio to show up in their feed.
I think there’s a bug. Where do I report it?
Email stockswithfriendsdev@gmail.com with the steps to reproduce, your platform and app version, and a screenshot or screen recording if you can. Bug reports help us a lot — thank you in advance.
